Weld County Legal Services (WCLS) depends on the generosity of area attorneys who are willing to volunteer their personal time to assist local residents with their legal issues free of charge. Currently these services are limited to the advice that the attorneys may offer during the WCLS-sponsored events.
Greeley Legal Nights are co-sponsored by the Colorado Lawyers Committee, the Spanish Speaking Lawyers Association of the Colorado Bar Association, Weld County Legal Services and Colorado Legal Services.
Ask an Attorney clinics are co-sponsored by Weld County Legal Services and the Court Information Center.
Our greatest need at local events is family law attorneys. At these events, clients are served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Typical issues to be addressed are consumer problems, immigration, employment, evictions, bankruptcy and family law. We attempt to have translators available for all events. Additionally, legal resource binders with referrals for attorneys in various areas of law are available upon request.
WCLS is in need of attorneys practicing in civil litigation. Attorneys interested in assisting with reduced fees or Unbundled Services for civil matters are asked to send an email regarding their interest to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Weld County Legal Services programs qualify for credit under the Colorado Supreme Court’s Pro Bono Initiative. See Rule 6.1 of the Rules of Professional Conduct for more information.
Please contact email@example.com, https://Line2Text.Me/s/WeldLegal, or call (970) 310-8367, for additional opportunities to volunteer for Weld County Legal Services.
WCLS thanks all of it’s volunteer attorneys. This organization would not exist without the ongoing support to the residents of Weld County.
